REVIR MUGS

RETROPOT AND FIGGJO

MUG GRAPHICS: JOHN HARALD KNUTSSON

Revir's enamel mug is handmade b in Spain. The manufacturing process is almost entirely manual, as it was 250 years ago.

Large presses cut, press, and shape steel plates. The finished steel mugs are coated with two layers of enamel made from silicate minerals.

The surface then becomes bright, smooth, hard, inert, durable, and non-porous. The cups can withstand direct fire, can be placed directly on a stove burner, or in a fire. They are easy to clean and extremely robust.

They are even EEC-approved for cooking.

SOME MUG TIPS:

  • Do not use in microwave.

  • Do not heat up without contents.

  • Boiling water and baking soda will remove most stains.

  • The enamel is extremely durable but can chip. If you get chips on the outside, it's just signs of a lived life and adds character to the mug, but if you manage to chip off the enamel on the inside, the steel will rust, and then it is no longer suitable for cooking.

  • The mugs may have various "beauty marks" from the production process.
